Why CarShippers.ai

Built for carriers who want consistent loads, not load-board roulette

What is a carrier network? A carrier network is a managed system that connects verified auto transport carriers directly with shippers. Unlike open load boards where all loads are visible to all carriers, a carrier network filters and matches shipments to carriers based on their registered lanes, equipment type, and availability. CarShippers.ai operates a carrier network across 48 US states, using AI dispatch to route matched loads to qualified carriers.

Traditional load boards show every available shipment to every carrier and let you compete for it. Payment takes 30 to 45 days. Brokers subcontract to other brokers, cutting your rate before it reaches you. The CarShippers.ai carrier network works differently. When you register your active lanes and equipment type, our AI filters loads to your operation, not the other way around. You see fewer loads, but every one of them fits.

Consistent loads for your lanes

Our AI matches loads to carriers based on active routes, equipment type, and availability. No more searching boards for loads that don't fit your lane.

48-hour payment

Payment within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. No chasing invoices. Direct deposit to your registered bank account.

Carrier portal

Book loads, submit delivery confirmations, access invoices, and manage your account from one portal. No phone calls required.

Transparent dispatch

You see full shipment details before accepting. Origin, destination, payout, and pickup window are visible before you commit.

How it works

How AI dispatch matches loads to your lanes

When you join, you register your active routes, equipment type, and availability window. The dispatch system surfaces loads that already fit your operation. Here is exactly what happens from the moment a shipment is posted.

  1. 1

    Shipper requests transport

A shipper submits vehicle details, origin, destination, and preferred pickup window. The load is logged immediately in the system.

  2. 2

AI scores your profile against the load

The system evaluates lane proximity, equipment match, current availability, and your carrier performance score. Loads that do not fit your registered lanes do not reach you.

  3. 3

You receive a matched load offer

Full shipment details appear in your carrier portal — origin, destination, vehicle type, payout, and pickup window — all visible before you commit to anything.

  4. 4

Accept or decline — no pressure

You choose which loads to take. If you pass, the system routes the load to the next best-matched carrier. You are never assigned a load without your acceptance.

  5. 5

    Deliver, submit BOL, get paid

Submit the signed Bill of Lading and condition photos directly from the portal. The 48-hour payment clock starts the moment your BOL is confirmed automatically.

Proximity load alerts: When you complete a delivery, the portal checks for open loads near your drop-off location. If a matched shipment is posted along your return route, you receive an instant notification so you can fill your trailer instead of deadheading empty miles.

Carrier network vs load board

Why carriers leave load boards for a dedicated carrier network

Load boards were built for volume. The CarShippers.ai carrier network was built for carriers. Here is how the two models compare on the factors that directly affect your bottom line.

Traditional load board
CarShippers.ai carrier network

Carrier requirements

We're transparent about who qualifies

CarShippers.ai is a quality-first carrier network. Every requirement is verified on application through FMCSA records. You will know within 48 hours whether you are approved.

  • Active FMCSA carrier authority — MC number required, no pending or suspended status accepted

  • Valid DOT number registered and in good standing with the FMCSA SAFER database

  • Minimum $750,000 cargo insurance verified via FMCSA records at application

  • Clean safety rating — satisfactory or conditional with explanation accepted

  • Open or enclosed trailer equipment in active use

  • Active BOC-3 filing — process agent designation required for interstate authority

  • Minimum 6 months operating authority — newer carriers may qualify with strong references

  • Operating in the contiguous 48 states — Alaska and Hawaii by separate application

Why we re-verify every 30 days: Most platforms verify carriers at application and never check again. CarShippers.ai re-verifies every carrier against FMCSA records monthly. This protects every carrier in the network and every shipper who depends on it.

The carrier portal

Dispatch by software, not by phone tag

The carrier portal is where your entire operation lives, from the moment a load is offered to the moment payment lands. No calls to confirm details, no emailing PDFs back and forth, no separate invoicing system.

Payment

The 48-hour payment cycle, explained

Fast payment is a claim every broker network makes. Here is specifically how ours works, step by step, so there are no surprises after your first delivery.

1

Complete the delivery

Arrive at the delivery location and conduct a condition inspection with the recipient present.

2

Submit BOL in the portal

Upload the signed Bill of Lading and condition photos from your phone, at drop-off, directly from the cab.

3

48-hour clock starts automatically

The moment your BOL is matched to the shipment record, the payment window opens. No follow-up calls, no manual invoices.

4

Direct deposit to your account

Payment arrives within 48 hours via direct deposit. No checks, no factoring, no waiting on a broker payment cycle.

Industry context: The standard broker payment cycle in auto transport is 30 to 45 days. CarShippers.ai pays within 48 hours because carriers should not be financing the transaction.

From our operations team

Why we built the network this way

CarShippers.ai was built by a team with direct experience in auto transport operations, not just software. The payment and dispatch design came directly from conversations with carriers who had spent years fighting load boards and waiting on broker checks.

MR

We talked to hundreds of owner-operators before we built anything. The two things that came up every single time were payment timing and the time wasted on boards. We designed the entire system around fixing those two problems first.

What carriers in our network say

DT

Before CarShippers.ai, I was spending two hours every morning going through load boards. Now I get matched offers in my lanes before I finish my first coffee. The Dallas to Atlanta run has been consistent every week since I joined.

The 48-hour payment is not a marketing line. I got my first direct deposit 41 hours after my first delivery. After six years of chasing broker checks and factoring fees, that alone was worth switching everything over.

Sandra L., fleet operator

Phoenix, AZ — 3-truck fleet, enclosed and open

RK

The portal killed all the back-and-forth. I submit the BOL from my phone at drop-off, payment is already processing. No emails, no calls, no chasing anyone. I run the Chicago to Denver lane and I have not called a dispatcher since January.

CarShippers.ai pays carriers within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. Payment is made via direct deposit to your registered bank account. The 48-hour clock starts automatically when your signed Bill of Lading is submitted and matched to the shipment record in the carrier portal. No follow-up required.

You only see loads matched to your registered lanes and equipment type. The AI dispatch system filters out loads that do not fit your active routes, so you see higher-relevance offers rather than everything on the board. You can update your registered lanes at any time in the carrier portal.

A minimum of $750,000 in cargo insurance is required. CarShippers.ai verifies this directly against FMCSA records during your application. No manual certificate uploads are needed. Your coverage is re-verified every 30 days as part of the standard carrier recertification cycle.

The system matches shipments to carriers based on four factors: your active route, equipment type, current availability, and carrier performance score. You receive load offers that fit your operation rather than seeing every load available. If you decline a load, it routes automatically to the next best-matched carrier.

Most carrier applications are reviewed within 48 hours. The median review time in Q1 2026 was 22 hours. FMCSA verification begins automatically when you submit your MC number. You receive an approval or rejection email within the 48-hour window.

Yes. You receive load offers and choose to accept or decline each one. CarShippers.ai does not assign loads without carrier acceptance. Declining a load does not affect your lane score. You are only scored on loads you accept and complete.

Yes. An active BOC-3 filing is required for interstate motor carrier authority. Most carriers operating across state lines already have this on file with the FMCSA. If your BOC-3 is not active, your application will be held until the filing is confirmed. You can check your BOC-3 status at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov.

Every completed delivery adds to your lane performance record. Carriers who consistently run a specific lane build a higher score on that route, which gives them earlier visibility on new load offers along the same corridor. The score is based on on-time pickup rate, delivery completion rate, condition report submission speed, and shipper feedback. Your scores are visible in the performance dashboard in the carrier portal.

You can pause your availability in the carrier portal at any time with no penalty to your lane score or carrier profile. Pausing is common during vacation, maintenance periods, or slow seasons. There are no exit fees, no lock-in contracts, and no minimum commitment period. You can reactivate your account at any time from the portal.
